
“Bi-lateral Trade Seminar/Discussion with Malaysia”

We are pleased to inform you that the National Chamber of Commerce will hold another Seminar in the series of Bilateral Trade Discussions, this time between Sri Lanka & Malaysia on Thursday 08th July 2010 from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm at the Chamber Auditorium. The objective of the seminar is to brief the participants on Trade Rules & Regulations in Malaysia, Products & Services that are in demand in terms of both Export & Import opportunities, Duty/Tariff issues, Free Trade Agreements, Joint Ventures / Investment opportunities etc. This would also promote bilateral business relations between Malaysia & Sri Lanka.
The High Commissioner of Malaysia, H.E Rosli Ismail and the Commercial Counsellor and other Trade officers from the Malaysian High Commission will participate at the seminar. At these discussions any problems Sri Lankan businessmen have when dealing with their counterparts in Malaysia could be taken up and they would also be able to directly interact with the officials from the Malaysian High Commission.
